How is m³ calculated for storage?

Storage space is measured by volume, not floor area. The calculation takes three steps:

  1. 1

    Find the room volume

    Multiply width × depth × height. A 3 m × 4 m × 2.5 m room is 30 m³.

  2. 2

    Estimate the volume of your goods

    In an average home, 1 m² of floor area equals about 0.4 m³ of goods. Denser furnishing can change this ratio.

  3. 3

    Calculate the monthly fee

    Multiply the volume of goods by ₺400 per m³ per month (excl. VAT). That equals ₺160 per m² of home area.

Sample calculation

  • 100 m² home × 0.4 = 40 m³ of goods
  • 40 m³ × ₺400 = ₺16,000 / month (excl. VAT)
  • 40 m³ of goods → 20 m² sample room (4 × 5 m)
